Why Slipnot Traction?

Living in Southwest Colorado, we use our bikes rain or shine, sleet or snow. Often riding to work in the sun and home in the snow. We realized that not all people had the budget, time, or skillset to swap out their tires for studs when the weather changed.  We started looking for an alternative, and there weren’t any options on the market, so we came up with our own. After quite a few versions, we came up with what we think is the perfect combination of weight and durability. Regardless of the conditions, Slipnot Traction Systems allows you to safely get out and ride!

When not to use Slipnot Traction

Our chains are intended to be used at reasonable speeds and with safety in mind. Do not use our product if you have an E-bike that is over 600WA. We do not recommend using our product with fenders. DO NOT install Slipnot’s on deflated tires, they are not designed to withstand the internal pressure of a tire inflating while installed. Like snow chains for vehicles, with proper use you will get many seasons out of a pair of our chains.
